Hoi! I'm Felipe. I was born in Sergipe, the smallest state of Brazil – a place where learning how to dance forró is a matter of survival.
Thing is, I was a metalhead from an early age (picture ten-year-old me vibin' with Slipknot's Iowa). I made it work.
What became clear, though, was that I liked to get a little weird. And that's why I'm passionate about ideas that try something different.
Pursuing these ideas led me to live in Rio, São Paulo, New York, and Amsterdam. It's been cool. In recent years I helped to build a creative department from the ground up at AKQA Amsterdam, led global projects for brands like TikTok and Danone, produced a crazy ass film for a cannabis related brand, got a place in The Drum's 2020 "Most Awarded Copywriters" list, and made a bunch of friends. Nowadays, I'm still based in the Dam, but freelancing all over the world.
Now that you got my credentials, back to being silly. Here's a list of random things about me: I love to study and practice extreme vocals.
I recently answered destiny's call to become a surf skate micro influencer. I cry very easily watching animes. I've bungee jumped 3 times.
I've surfed in Hawaii wearing a hand cast. I can get overexcited when talking about my favourite bands.
